Mō te tūnga | About the role
We have opportunities for experienced Radiographers to join our Medical Centre team here on Mt Ruapehu, working across both Whakapapa and Tūroa ski areas for this upcoming winter season.
Our Medical Centres provide both accident and urgent medical services to our manuhiri (guests), dealing with both pediatric and adult trauma cases. In this role you will be required to provide front line medical care on Mt Ruapehu as well as assist in the planning and documentation of Medical Centre services. You will maintain a close relationship with the Safety Services team and will assist them in their medical training. The clinics also provide accident, general medical care and other support services to our Ruapehu whanau during designated staff clinics.
You will participate in training and performing of nursing duties including but not limited to; applying plaster casts, collecting patient vital signs, IV cannulation, wound care, and assisting triage.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako ōu | Your skills and experience
- Qualified Medical Radiation Technologist holding registration with NZMRTB.
- At least 2 years broad general Radiology experience gained in public hospital or private practice.
- Active member of an approved CPD programme.
- Current annual practicing certificate.
- Current medical indemnity insurance .
- IV cannulation certificate (preferable).
- First aid or Pre-Hospital Emergency Care (PHEC) certificate (preferable)
- Must be familiar with computed radiography.
- Knowledge of the New Zealand Health system, particularly ACC.

The company is currently in the process of being sold to Whakapapa Holdings 2024 Limited and the sale is subject to a Department of Conservation (DOC) concession being awarded.
