Right now, we - re looking for a Surgical Enrolled Nurse with a good amount experience
behind them to become part of the team here in Timaru. You - ll enjoy the
flexibility of a truly varied role - one moment you could be working with a
gynecology patient; the next, you - re in orthopedics - never a dull moment or a
day that looks like another!
Our 40 Bed Surgical Ward where we provide Nursing
care to patients from a wide range of specialties including General, Orthopaedic, Gynaecological, and ENT
surgery.
Motivated, with a mature attitude and organised approach, you will be flexible and adaptable in this ever changing, fast paced environment. The ability to work autonomously and effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team, will be key to your success in this role
Ideally it is envisaged you will have a background in general surgery, with sound acute assessment and critical thinking skills.
Specific Requirements include:
- NZ Nursing Council Registration and current APC
- A
minimum of 2 years post graduate nursing experience
