Right now, we - re looking for a tech savvy health professional with strong clinical judgement and an interest in multi-agency Family Safety work, to join our Child and Youth Team in Timaru. Dedicated to helping people live their best possible lives, we - re after someone who believes prevention is better than cure. Sound like you?
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop systems and processes from the ground up, to incorporate the Integrated Safety Response (ISR) into Te Whatu Ora South Canterbury, operations. The ISR model brings together Police, Oranga Tamariki, Ministry of Social Development, local iwi, and other specialist organisations, to support victims of family violence and their whanau.
If you have good community linkages, sound skills in communication and problem solving, and a strong understanding of privacy and information sharing requirements, family violence and child protection, then this is your opportunity to make a difference.
You will be a registered health professional. Experience in child and family physical and/or mental health with be an advantage.
