Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Southern Blood and Cancer Service Oncology Outpatients

About the role
We have an exciting part-time, permanent opportunity for a Senior Registered Nurse looking for that next step in their nursing career. As Clinical Nurse Coordinator, working collaboratively with the CNM and ACNM, you will support the Clinical teams ensuring effective day-to-day coordination and management of the shift. The role is responsible for promoting excellence in clinical practice, nursing professional standards and ensuring the provision of high-quality nursing care.
This is a part-time position, and the successful applicant will work Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5pm, exact times to be negotiated.

About you
You will have proven clinical credibility, excellent group facilitation skills and advanced communication techniques such as conflict resolution, diffusion and mediation skills. You will have excellent organisational and time management skills, in addition to a professional can do attitude in line with our values.
Our ideal candidate:
- Be a Senior Registered Nurse with at least three years' experience in oncology/haematology nursing
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience in a co-ordination or management role
- Have a high degree of computer literacy will be highly advantageous
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings

Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the NZNO/Te Whatu Ora collective agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the Designated Senior Nurse Scale, Grade 1 between $114,025 and $121,444 dependent on relevant experience.
