Team Leader - Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Unit

Southland Hospital, Invercargill
Salary band - $75,000 to $85,000 p.a. pro rata, plus Kiwisaver

This is a busy and satisfying position that will allow you to use your organisation, people and process management as well as your interpersonal skills to help make a real difference to the health of our communities.

Are you patient, kind and able to stay calm under pressure? Do you have a keen eye for detail and the confidence to make decisions? Are you interested in scheduling and rostering of others? As part of our district wide RMO Unit, focused on the rostering of Resident Doctors (RMOs) working at Southland Hospital, you will manage several rosters and assist Educational Supervisors in supporting prevocational doctors who are beginning their medical careers. Also you will support the District RMO Unit Manager in their absence and become the 'go to' advisor within the team.

You will need to have excellent administration and coordination skills and be ready to manage your own portfolio of work, and be interested in rostering and growing relationships. This is a busy professional office so you will need to enjoy being part of a team that works together as well as independently to achieve goals.
