- Salary band - $77,000 - $110,000 p.a for full-time and Kiwisaver
- Fixed-term, full-time (1.0 FTE 40hrs per week) until December 2025

Mō te tūranga - About the team
Working in a dynamic and evolving community interdisciplinary team, you will be part of an experienced supportive team, planning and providing intensive rehabilitation to our diverse patients within their own homes.
We take pride in supporting our staff to grow and we enable ongoing professional development including regular team in-services, senior staff mentoring and peer review and access to course and conference funding. We support student education throughout clinical placements.
You'll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and expertise in rehabilitation with medical, orthopaedic and neurological conditions including stroke. You will also have the opportunity to support, teach and upskill students.
Mōu ake - About you
As a senior OT, ideally you bring a minimum of five years occupational therapy experience that includes working in a rehabilitation setting with patients with stroke, neurological conditions and the frail elderly. Experience with orthopaedic conditions is also an advantage. You demonstrate a strong understanding of optimising patient outcomes and facilitating effective discharge planning, using a patient centred and evidence based approach to goal setting and intervention. You will build excellent relationships between inpatients and the community.
In addition you will have enthusiasm and a willingness to commit to our team and patients. You will be expected to be active in service quality initiatives, therefore be proactive, innovative and have a quality driven leadership approach.
For this permanent role covering the service, you will need to be a New Zealand registered occupational therapist with a current annual practising certificate.

Utu whānui - Salary range
This role belongs to the Allied, Public Health, Scientific, and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($77,087 p.a) and Step 8 ($110,210 p.a).
