There's a lot going on in health, with the creation of a new national agency; Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand, and the building of the New Dunedin Hospital, now is the perfect time to jump in and help us achieve our energy reduction goals as we move towards a carbon zero future.

Mō te tūranga - About the role

This role is funded by EECA (Energy Efficiency & Conservation Authority) and is dedicated to helping the hospitals and facilities across the southern region become more energy efficient, and less dependent on fossil fuels for energy. You'll be helping our Energy Manager to identify energy reduction opportunities and implement plans to reduce the cost of energy. You'll also be a champion of increasing the awareness of energy conservation across the organisation.

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • A degree in Energy Management or related field
  • An understanding of energy saving opportunities
  • Previous experience in a large organisation would be a big help
  • Most importantly, a positive can-do attitude

This role falls between $61,121 and $67,912 p.a depending on the candidate's skills and experience.
