Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Unit Coordinator

Dunedin or Southland

Mō te tūranga - About the role
This role is responsible for facilitating the administrative and logistical support for the onboarding process and arrival of RMOs to the organisation and supporting the RMO Unit Recruitment Advisors by way of providing some recruitment activity support during the Annual Recruitment Cycle (ARC).
Key responsibilities are (but not limited to):
- Coordinating the requirements for Orientation, liaising with relevant services, eg IT access, Name badges, ID Cards.
- Facilitate relocation services and request approvals according to employment agreements and policy
- Collating references and connecting with incoming candidates who have questions
- Use of the National Salary Matrix to support the RMO Unit Recruitment Advisor in setting RMO salaries
- Supporting the RMO Unit Recruitment Advisor in the preparation and completion of Letters of Offer made during the ARC
- Coordinate the MCNZ & Immigration process alongside the RMO Unit Recruitment Advisor

Ideally you will bring the following skills and experience:
- Previous administration or coordination experience
- Strong computer skills are essential
- Have a high level of accuracy, judgment and maintaining confidentiality
- Be a fast learner who retains knowledge as well as anticipating roadblocks
- Excellent time management, prioritisation, interpersonal and organisational skills
- A flexible approach with the ability to successfully prioritise your workload
- Previous experience in Recruitment, HR Administration or the health sector would be desirable

Utu whānui - Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the PSA South Island Clerical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the National Health Administration Workers Pay Scale, Band 4A which falls between Step 1 $64,903 and Step 3 $67,787 p.a dependant on relevant experience.
