Mō te tūranga - About the role
The outpatient physiotherapy team at Dunedin Hospital are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic pelvic health physiotherapist or a physiotherapist who is keen to grow their clinical and professional skills in the field of Pelvic Health.
This role involves working with a wide range of patients referred from the gynaecology, obstetrics and general surgery departments, General Practitioners, and community health professionals. You will be based in our physiotherapy outpatient department with our experienced team of physiotherapists and will carry a mixed caseload of both pelvic health and general musculoskeletal.
We take pride in supporting our staff to grow as clinicians, so we run a well-developed on-going support and professional development programme. The team provides regular in-services, a comprehensive on-call competency training framework, senior staff mentoring and peer review and access to course and conference funding. Please note this role will require you to participate in weekend and on-call rosters as needed.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive approach towards learning is essential for this role. You will have the drive to develop quality services in collaboration with others while working alongside a committed our experienced Outpatient Physiotherapy team.
Ideally, you will have a minimum of three years' experience as a Physiotherapist, with some experience in Pelvic Health preferred, however we will consider applications for those keen to develop skills in this area. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about Pelvic Health, can work autonomously, manage, and prioritise their caseload within the outpatient setting while supporting the growth of students, junior staff and the Allied Health Assistant workforce.
