- Full-time 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)
About the team
There are two members of the team, one based in Southland and the Other in Otago but with District wide responsibility. The team works closely with both the Senior Leadership team and clinical and administrative staff at all levels.
About the role
The primary purposes of the role are to do the following:
- Ensure that SDHB adheres to national reporting standards primarily PRIMHD (Programme for the Integration of Mental Health Data)
- Be a resource for all other MH staff in using data in producing required management reports, quality improvement projects, external inquiries and research
- Be an active bridge between clinical staff and the Information Services teams in relation to implementation of informatics
About you
You will either be an experienced New Zealand Registered Health Professional with a current annual practicing certificate and demonstrable further education in related fields. You must be proficient in the use of common data analysis tools such as MS Excel.
Or, you will be from a clinical informatics or data analysis background, proficient in the use of data analysis tools. Ideally you will also have experience or knowledge of the health sector.
You will have excellent communication skills with a positive and problem solving attitude. You will have a passion for mental health.
