About the role

 

Right now, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Registered Nurse to join the Whangarei Acute Spectrum Specialist Services as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator. In this position, you will coordinate the patients, systems and resources, through a clinical/managerial partnership approach, and to ensure service delivery is efficient and effective.

 

This is a permanent, full time position working 40 hours per week.

 

This role will be responsible for:

-       Providing clinical leadership and guidance for the team in partnership with the Clinical Nurse Manager

-       Ensuring the provision and quality of care is safe, professional and patient focused

-       Provide leadership to the team members towards sector integration and recovery focused care

 

Key Requirements

 

To be successful for this role, you will need:

  • Hold New Zealand Registration and a current Practicing Certificate
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in relevant specialty area
  • Relevant Post Graduate Certificate
  • PDRP at Expert level, or working towards
  • Current full drivers licence

 

Experience in a Nursing leadership role is preferable, however not essential to apply.
