About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Mental Health Nursing to join our General Adult and Crisis Teams Mental Health Community Mental Health team with bases in Kaikohe and Kerikeri. This is a full time position working 40 hours per week.

 

The community mental health service provides community based assessment and treatment services to people, including those presenting with alcohol and drug issues, through both community follow-up and outpatient clinics. This service also provides the crisis response for mental health, dual diagnosis and clinical rehabilitation.

 

Working with a passionate, multi-disciplinary team who place great value on putting people first, you will have the standard of clinical practice and expertise necessary to effectively provide for tāngata whaiora and whānau needs within the service here in Northland.

 

Relocation assistance many be available for the right candidate.

 

About You

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong desire and ability to work as part of a positive and productive multidisciplinary team, be highly motivated and have excellent communication and computer skills. You will also hold a full drivers licence, a current annual practising certificate, and have the ability to be available for an on-call roster.
