House Officers (PGY2 and above)

Right now, we have exciting opportunities for House Officers to join the team at Whangarei Hospital.
Our House Officer rotations are across departments, including Surgical, Urology, Orthopaedics, Medicine, Assessment Unit, Emergency Department, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, and Relief. We also have Community-based attachments available.

Whangarei Hospital is the largest hospital in Te Tai Tokerau, a largely rural region with many high health needs and interesting pathology. Suitable candidates must have the following:
- A minimum of 1-year post-graduate experience in the New Zealand health sector or a comparable health system.
- The ability to work in New Zealand
- Medical Council of New Zealand registration or ability to apply.
