About the role:
Assess, prescribe and review wheelchairs and seating and assist individuals to achieve or maintain their functional potential.
This is a permanent part time position working 16 hours per week (0.4 FTE).
Key requirements:
- NZ Registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
- Current NZ driver's license
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to effectively engage with Maori and Whanau
Ideally you will be a trained Wheeled Mobility and Posture Mobility Level 2 plus Wheeled Mobility and Complex Custom Fabricator or are willing to be trained on the job.
