About the role
Start your journey with Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau - right now we are looking for an exceptional Occupational Therapist with an interest in paediatrics. If you are looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge and have an interest in working with tamariki and their whānau, join our supportive multi-disciplinary Child Health team.
The primary function of this role is to provide an effective and efficient Occupational Therapy service to the children of Northland with developmental problems or disability, together with their families, to help them achieve optimum function and wellbeing
This is a permanent 0.6 FTE position working 24 hours per week.
No previous experience in paediatrics is required, as our highly experienced team will support you and share their knowledge to assist you in developing your clinical skills and knowledge in Occupational Therapy and Paediatrics.
- NZ registration as an Occupational Therapist (new graduates are welcome)
- A current practicing certificate
- An interest in paediatrics with a passion for seeing tamaraki and their whānau thrive
