Clinical Psychologist - Mental Health & Addiction Services, Mid North Area (1.0FTE)

Right now we are looking for a passionate psychologist to join our supportive multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural Community Adult Mental Health and Addiction Service team with bases in Kerikeri and Kaikohe, with opportunities to travel within the region when required.
This will be a challenging role for someone who is enthusiastic about their work and is keen to make a difference. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with experience in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

We are looking for someone who is committed to working with adults experiencing moderate to severe mental health and addiction difficulties.
You will provide a range of psychological services including comprehensive assessments, intervention plans and therapy.
To be successful you will:
- Be registered with the NZ Psychologists Board and have a current practicing certificate
- Have experience in psychological assessment using a range of assessment tools with adults who have mental health and addiction difficulties
- Have experience delivering a range of evidence-informed psychological interventions
- Be committed to cultural and ethical competence
- Work well within multidisciplinary teams
