About the Role
Right now we are looking for exceptional Occupational Therapists to join our supportive Mental Health and Addiction acute inpatient services multidisciplinary team. We have 2 full time positions working 40 hours per week, though we would also consider part-time applicants.
Tumanako is a 29 bed purpose built unit at Whangarei Hospital that cares for adults over the age of 18 who live in the Northland area. He Manu Pae is a 6 bed sub-acute unit based in a community setting. At both units we provide a full range of mental health and alcohol and drug services including assessment, group therapy, family/whānau and individual interventions.
In this role you will provide high quality and effective Occupational Therapy and contribute to the provision of Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions for the Tūroro in the Tumanako Service.
About You
To be successful you will need:
- to hold a New Zealand drivers licence
- a current practicing certificate in New Zealand
- have experience/interest in working in the mental health and addiction sector.
