Ruapehu Health Ltd is seeking an experienced person for the position of Waimarino Development Lead, to coordinate stakeholders and provide direction for the Waimarino Wellness Centre development in Raetihi.  This new facility will bring together health, Iwi and social partners to support the Waimarino community and surrounding areas through a codesign process with whānau. The purpose of this role is to progress and initiate community partnerships and ensure the development journey engages the community to meet their expectations within resource available.

This position is a critical public facing connector role, linking the community, Iwi and project stakeholders (including the workforce who will be relocated into the centre together) to ensure shared aspirations, goals and outcomes are achieved within a cohesive co-design approach. The successful applicant will be a leader, who is confident in operational and change management, has strong regional relationships and is able to work collaboratively.

In leading the establishment of a wellness centre and supporting equity outcomes, the expectation is to work alongside the wider community and workforce involved in the redesign. Preference is given to those who have an existing positive profile in the Waimarino district, within Iwi/community and/or business.

This is a fixed term full-time position for up to a two-year period and will be based in Raetihi.
