The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi
Join us as a Team Coach to lead our services in Te Waiharakeke/Blenheim. Our services include residential recovery for up to 6 whai ora, community outreach, and Youth services for taiohi.
As a Team Coach, you will inspire and guide your team of support workers. You must be a registered health professional, ideally with mental health experience as a nurse, social worker, occupational therapist or AOD clinician. Knowledge of the primary health sector is an advantage.
You'll also:
- Be part of a leadership team, attend regular meetings and Team Coach professional development session
- Contribute to a National rostered after-hours service on a rotating basis.
This is a permanent full-time role, working Monday-Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm, in Te Waiharakeke/Blenheim. You'll be based in the residential recovery service.
You | Mōu
The ideal candidate will have experience working in the mental health industry, ideally with management and leadership knowledge, with proven ability to inspire and lead a team.
You will have;
- A tertiary health qualification in social work, occupational therapy or nursing and registration with professional body
- A current full New Zealand driver's licence
- Understand and applies the principles of wellness and recovery
- A current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one
- Ideally, you'll have knowledge of the Health and Social Services sectors
- Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
