We are looking for a Registered Social Worker to join our Child Development Service in Wairau (Marlborough) on a permanent part-time basis working 32 hours a fortnight (0.4 FTE). This role is based at the Community Health Hub where you will work collaboratively with other services such as Needs Assessment Services, Ti Piki Oranga, Explore, Child and Adolescent Mental Health, and the Ministry of Education, to name a few. The role will require you to be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs.
You
will provide social work support to whanau in the community alongside the
multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals.

You will be registered with the NZ
Social Workers Registration Board, and work in a collaborative way, delivering
client-centred practice from a strengths perspective. You will ideally have
experience working with tamariki and their whanau in a health setting and
working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
You will bring an understanding of the social determinants of health,
and the impact on health and psychosocial needs.
