Receptionist-Administrator, Horowhenua Integrated Family Health Centre
Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatū, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. With a large hospital campus in Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.
Horowhenua Health Centre, Levin
We are seeking an energetic, highly organised, accurate and efficient administrator with exceptional customer service skills to join our team.
This is a front facing role therefore it is essential that we have someone that is going to portray a professional image to the people using our services.
This role is 40 hours a week Monday to Friday.
You will be doing a mix of frontline reception work and clinic bookings/data entry so excellent word processing/data entry skills and multitasking is a must. Other desirable attributes are; the ability to maintain a high standard of accuracy and presentation, experience with medical terminology would be an advantage but not essential, able to work closely with colleagues and the ability to manage a variety of tasks in a busy environment and to move location to meet demand, the ability to prioritise and excellent organisational and time management skills, a strong commitment toward quality improvement, experience in a call centre type environment would also be helpful but not essential.
This is a busy role so excellent communication skills are paramount and a willingness to be a team player is a must. You may be supporting other administration roles within the Health Centre as required.
