Programme Facilitator - Service Development

The Organisation
Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatū, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. With a large hospital campus in Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.
The Opportunity
Temporary until 1 March 2024, 0.8 – 1.0 FTE
Te Uru Rauhi, Mental Health and Addiction Services at MidCentral have an exciting and varied opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic programme improvement analyst or programme coordinator.
Our services are implementing a wellness and recovery-focused approach that encourages interconnectedness and encompasses the aspirations to achieve ‘WAIORA' flourishing individuals, whānau, and communities.
You will be involved in a range of projects focusing on building improvements in the customer and workforce experience within the health system and with our community based partners.
Your focus will be providing both qualitative and quantitative analytics to support effective decision making and governance by providing up to date quality information in a clear and accurate format. You will also contribute to the oversight and coordination of projects ensuring these are delivered on time and with high quality information.

To be successful in this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in a quantitative, business or health related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience in collection, cleaning, analysis, interpretation and reporting of quality data
- Experience in using data to create insights for service and quality improvements
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills in influencing stakeholders and supporting business change
- Experience with running workshops and/or training with small groups will be an advantage
