The Opportunity
Looking for an opportunity as a non-training Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrar?
MidCentral District located in Palmerston North City could be the perfect place for you!
MidCentral District provides an excellent grounding for Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrars looking to grow and develop their skills. The hospital has a busy birthing suite with just under 2000 births a year within the District. During the last years we have improved our management of both spontaneous and induced labour with a multidisciplinary approach and a focus on the continuous auditing of outcomes. This has led to a decreased Caesarean Section rate.
In addition there are a range of gynaecological surgeries undertaken and opportunities for both Gynaecology and Obstetrics outpatient clinics.
