Clinical Midwife Manager, Maternity Ward
Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatū, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. With a large hospital campus in Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Midwife looking for a leadership role in our service.
The Clinical Midwife Manager – Maternity provides midwifery leadership and management in our combined antenatal and postnatal ward. Maternity has 20 beds and provides care to women under LMC and secondary care. The CMM – Maternity will provide coordination and some clinical support as needed.
We are looking for a midwife with a passion for providing quality inpatient care, has experience with leading quality improvement initiatives, is confident with provision of antenatal and postnatal cares and is looking for a position with leadership opportunities.
This position is a full-time role and hours of work can be negotiated with the successful applicant(s). Job sharing could also be considered.
