Digitisation Operator

MidCentral has embarked on a transformational change from paper based to a fully digitised clinical record.



We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Digitisation Bureau Operators to join our eRecords Bureau.



The team is small, dynamic and key to enabling and delivering timely access to quality electronic information across our service.



The duties within the bureau are varied and staff will be required to cross train and perform multiple functions depending on workload. All operators must be able to lift and carry up to 14kg and be capable of standing for periods of duty. Operators will be expected to perform duties in accordance with instruction and to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)



You must be able to perform all of the following key functions:

 

  • Clinical Document Preparation
  • Document Scanner Operation
  • Document Index Operation
  • Process Quality Assurance


The successful candidate will:

 

  • Have a positive attitude and flexible approach
  • Work independently and well as part of a team
  • Be deadline focused
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be self-motivated, contribute to and embrace change
  • Have a high level of computer skill and use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word


Desirable experience:

  • Working in a health setting or with clinical records
  • Proven history working with multiple computer applications
