Charge Anaesthetic Technician
Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatū, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. With a large hospital campus in Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.
We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent, full time Charge Anaesthetic Technician to join the Anaesthetics Department at Palmerston North Hospital.
This person will be required to work in close partnership with management and the operating theatre multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical, operational and professional leadership for the Anaesthetic Technician team.
The Charge Anaesthetic Technician will:
- Provide expert advice on clinical and technical matters
- Promote and facilitate clinical excellence as it pertains to anaesthetic technician functions
- Co-ordinate service provision with the available resources
The successful applicant will be an experienced and knowledgeable Anaesthetic Technician, who will be an excellent role model for clinical practice and leadership. As the Charge Anaesthetic Technician, you will have effective oral and interpersonal communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and accept challenges in an ever-changing work environment.
