Ko te kaupapa | About the role
Are you a skilled typist? Do you want to join our friendly, supportive, and experienced administration team to provide customer focused reception services and administrative/clerical support to assist in the efficient functioning of the service with people centered care at the fore front?
We are seeking applications for an experienced medical typist/administrator who can provide administration support to our friendly and skilled multidisciplinary team. This is a varied and busy role, administration duties which will see you supporting the team to deliver the many aspects of the Community Mental Health and Addictions services provided to our Whanganui community.

Excellent time management skills, the ability to problem solve, to determine and balance work priorities is essential to the role.
You must be able to work unsupervised operating as part of a team as this role is vital to the smooth functioning of the Community Mental Health and Addiction Services.
The following skills are required:
· Experience in office and reception procedures
· Excellent customer service skills
· Excellent word processing, computing and typing skills
· Accurate data entry
· Effective oral and written communication skills
· Work accurately and efficiently
· Maintain confidentiality
