We are looking for a passionate Nurse Educator with the drive to facilitate both practical and theoretical learning for nursing staff across Mental Health and Addiction Services. This role spans both inpatient and community teams, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality education service.
As a Kaiwhakaako Tapuhi / Nurse Educator, you'll have the opportunity to lead and coordinate projects that enhance service delivery, while fostering a culture of continuous learning.

You'll join the dynamic Ngā Manu Teka Practice Development Team, reporting to the Kaiwhakahaere Kaiwhakaako Tapuhi Nurse Educator Lead. Our team values integrity, innovation, respect, and teamwork, and we are committed to making a meaningful difference in the care our community receives.

We're seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and proactive Registered Nurse with:
- A current NZ Practising Certificate
- Demonstrated experience in Mental Health and Addiction Services
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- A passion for education, quality improvement, and lifelong learning
Central to this role is engaging with clinical teams, so your enthusiasm for education and ability to connect with people will be essential.
