MidCentral DHB is growing community-based services and a key role is this community based respiratory position. This opportunity is for a physiotherapist looking to specialise in respiratory.

The position is running a community respiratory programme for people with chronic breathing conditions. You will be working one on one with patients in their own home, setting goals so that they can manage their condition long term. Using a combination of exercise, education, breathing techniques and equipment provision to help keep them active and out of hospital. Linking with community groups to enable ongoing exercise. Liaising with primary and secondary care health care to ensure continuity of care and early intervention when required.
