Te Uru Rauhi, Mental Health and Addiction Services at MidCentral DHB have several exciting opportunities for experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurses. There are two RN vacancies within the Crisis Resolution Service.
Mental Health and Addiction services are moving towards a wellness and recovery-focused approach that encourages interconnectedness socially, spiritually, physically and environmentally and encompasses the aspirations to achieve ‘WAIORA' flourishing individuals, whānau, and communities. This new service model delivery approach will support the achievement of whānau whaiora. These roles will be pivotal in ensuring in the delivery of safe, efficient, and comprehensive contemporary high quality, person and whānau centred clinical services.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate who can demonstrate an understanding of delivering a person and whānau first service delivery model
- Have excellent communication skills, including willingness to develop, maintain and enhance our relationships with our community partners such as iwi, primary health care organisations and others.
- Be a Duly Authorised Officer under the MHA, or willingness to engage in this training.
- Be recognised as a proficient or expert clinician.
