Te Uru Rauhi, Mental Health and Addiction Services have an exciting opportunity for experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist Allied Health Professional Mental Health and Addiction. The Clinical Psychologist will be a member of Community Mental Health and Addiction Services in Tararua.
Mental Health and Addictions Services at MDHB are moving towards a wellness and recovery-focused approach that encourages interconnectedness socially, spiritually, physically and environmentally and encompasses the aspirations to achieve ‘WAIORA' flourishing individuals, whānau, and communities. This new service model delivery approach will support the achievement of whānau whaiora. Clinical Psychologist's will report to the Tararua Locality Service Manager, Mental Health & Addiction Services. This role will be pivotal in ensuring in the delivery of safe, efficient, and comprehensive contemporary high quality, person and whānau centred clinical services.
The successful candidate requirements:
- A registered Clinical Psychologist
- Current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate
- Commitment to MDHB core values: Compassionate - Ka whai aroha, Respectful - Ka whai Ngākau, Courageous - Ka Mātātoa and Accountable - Ka noho haepapa.
- Have excellent written and interpersonal skills
- Strives for excellence and delivers high-quality care that focuses on the needs of the consumer and whānau.
