Whanganui DHB is seeking applications for a number of enrolled and registered nurses to join our team. The successful applicants will work up to 0.8FTE (32hours per week) permanent and fixed term, rotated and rostered. Most of the shifts on offer are 8 hour shifts.
If you are wanting hours that suit you or want the opportunity to work in a different area of expertise, then we may have you covered.
We currently have vacancies in Surgical, Medical, ATR/ASU, ED, CCU wards.
We have some vacancies in Acute and Community Mental Health and Addiction Services, along with Forensic Mental Health.
We are also keeping an eye out for Pediatric nurses, including SCBU, midwives, public health nurses, theatre staff, Acute and Community Mental Health and Addiction Services, along with Forensic Mental Health.
ED: Relevant post-graduate nursing experience, Minimum of 2 years consolidated nursing practice. Emergency Nursing experience desirable skills. ie: Triage, ACLS and or clinical experience in this area
CCU: 6 -12-month consecutive experience in Intensive and or coronary care (preferable) Minimum of 2 years medical or surgical consecutive nursing experience.
SCBU: Minimum 2 years' experience in a neonatal Unit.
