This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Wairoa Hospital and Community team.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our Whanau and Communities team in Wairoa as a permanent position. We are an interdisciplinary team who work across the hospital and community settings to support people in their transition home from hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who has good clinical assessment skills and exceptional interpersonal skills that will add value to the Whanau and Communities team.

You will be passionate about improving health outcomes for our people, and making a real difference to the people you work with. Your input will directly influence health outcomes and reduce health disparity.
If successful, you would work closely with a number of clients. You would complete goal setting in collaboration with the person and their whānau, and identify goals that are meaningful to them. You would develop individualised rehabilitation plans to increase their independence in activities of daily living, with the aim to make every moment a possible rehab opportunity.
