There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our growing Oncology Service as a Nurse Educator.
In this role you will support the service to ensure quality evidence-based services continue to be provided for our patients, assist with the orientation of new staff and students to support them to become comfortable to grow their skills in their working environment.
We are looking for someone with:
- A strong interest in professional development of staff working in oncology and in the wider Hawke's Bay
- Oncology/haematology background with chemotherapy experience and some clinical leadership
- Be an excellent communicator, highly organised with expertise in facilitation and nursing competency assessment
- Experience in innovative and effective educational solutions enable the on-going development of nursing team
