The Occupational Therapy Service at Hawkes Bay Hospital has an opening on the popular rotational programme. Rotational positions offer a range of clinical practice experience including orthopaedics, surgery, neurology, cardiology, medical, and rehabilitation. The position is well supported by experienced Occupational Therapists across the clinical spectrum, as well as the Occupational Therapy Professional Lead.
Our dynamic inpatient team is passionate about:
- Engaging and supporting people and their whānau to take control of their health and well being
- Setting people up to effectively manage, from hospital into the community
- Making adaptations to the living or working environments to help people undertake occupations that are meaningful to them
- Helping people to develop or adapt their skills, strengths and abilities to enable them to participate fully in their life.

Salary Range for this position is - $59,035 - $68,371 in accordance with Public, Allied and Technical Health Employee’s Multi Employer Collective Agreement (MECA) Step 1 - Step 3 according to qualifications and relevant experience pro-rated for hours worked.
