48 - 80 hours per fortnight (0.6 - 1.0FTE)

Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Te Matau a Māui, Hawke’s Bay is seeking Midwives to join our team of professionals in providing excellent care to approximately 2200 women and their whanau/families annually.

Te Matau a Māui, Hawke’s Bay’s maternity facilities are unique in that, in addition to our main secondary care birthing facility we are the only Region in New Zealand with a co-located Primary Birthing Unit. Last year 700 women benefited from our purpose-built contemporary home from home facilities, where women are actively supported and encouraged to birth naturally.

Hawke's Bay Maternity is recognised nationally as providing innovative programs to improve maternal and infant health and wellbeing.
