We are seeking theatre nurses to join our team.

About the role

As a Registered Nurse at Royston Hospital, you will provide exceptional patient care as part of a high-performing team across five operating theatres and an endoscopy suite. Two additional theatres will be commissioned later this year. You will have opportunity to practice all nursing roles within the theatres. Extra professional development is supported and encouraged.

• The roster is Monday to Friday with only occasional Saturday work
• No on-call roster
• Hospital closes for Christmas and New Year

This is a permanent position for 64 hours per fortnight and is located at Royston Hospital.

About you

You will have excellent organisational skills, be flexible and understand the importance of good team work.

You will also demonstrate and have the following skills and experiences:

• Registered Nurse with current NZ Nursing Council APC
• Previous theatre nursing experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experienced in scrubbing and circulating for surgery
• Committed to continuous quality improvement and personal development
