Are you an experienced midwife in search of a dynamic opportunity within a rewarding healthcare organisation?
We are looking for a Clinical Midwife Coordinator to join our team of professionals who provide excellent patient care.
You will be responsible for providing day to day clinical leadership and coordination of staff, systems and resources of clinical areas. You will be the central point of communication across the inpatient maternity services, maintaining patient flow and ensuring safe and timely admissions, transfer/retrievals and discharges.
You will be self-motivated and driven as well as enjoy working in a fast paced and changing environment. You will have a passion for making a difference, achieving results and be hungry for a challenge. You will be a New Zealand Registered Midwife, with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and continue to grow and develop professionally. You would be working 32 hours per fortnight as a Clinical Midwife Coordinator, we will then provide a further 16 – 32 hours per fortnight (negotiable) as a Staff Midwife. FTE for Clinical Midwife Coordinator position likely to increase to 0.6 FTE over the next 12-24 months.
This role is currently being expanded to a 24/7 role so successful candidate will need to be willing and able to work regular nightshifts.
