We have an opportunity to join the engAGE Community Allied Health Team at Hawkes Bay DHB. Become part of a dynamic and supportive team who are passionate about improving services for people in the local community. The team is made up of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Dietitians, Speech and Language Therapists and Health Care Assistants.
You will work in the community, in an assessment and rehabilitation capacity to help older people and people with complex disabilities to remain independent in their own homes for longer and also supporting those transitioning home from hospital. You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team working in partnership with General Practice and other community service providers to come up with creative solutions for complex situations. You will be part of a progressive, award winning model of care.
We are looking for a Physiotherapist with excellent team work skills, strong problem solving skills and a creative “can do” attitude. You will be well supported by the engAGE Team Leader and the Physiotherapy Professional Leader.
