We are Tu Ora Compass Health; we are committed to improving health outcomes for our communities through effective primary health care being the largest primary health organisation (PHO) in the Wellington region, incorporating Wellington City, Porirua/Kapiti and the Wairarapa. Through innovation, quality services, strong inter-service working relationships and a person-centred approach we believe in providing care closest to a person's home. Our primary mental health services are focused on delivering culturally appropriate interventions.

We have a great opportunity for qualified health professionals to join our team.
i.e.: Clinical or Health Psychologist, Counsellor, Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or AOD Clinician
These roles work across the life span; however, this role will offer an enhanced opportunity to work with the 18-25 year old age group to enrich their lives, build resilience and develop new skills. There is the opportunity to engage and support family/whanau involvement
We understand that to address poor health outcomes for Maori and Pacific communities, we need to create a team that is diverse and knowledgeable in this area. In that sense, a strong cultural awareness/background to assist Maori and Pacific communities with maintaining mental wellness would provide invaluable knowledge for you to succeed in your new role.
You will also:
- Have a can-do attitude
- Be qualified in Health, Counselling or Social Services (with 2-5 years of experience)
- Be registered with an appropriate Health or Social Wellbeing body (or awaiting results)
- Be prepared to undergo further training in CBT, Brief Interventions, and uptake other training opportunities
- Have a full and clean drivers' license
