The Opportunity
We are currently seeking Registered Nurses.
Working in our Inpatient Ward, caring for patients whose surgeries range from minor procedures to highly complex cases across both adults and paediatrics.
To be successful in this role:
- Prior experience in ward surgical nursing and ideally in a private hospital environment. Surgical specialities include cardiothoracic, general surgery, ENT, gynae, orthopaedics, spinal, plastics, urology and post diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures.
- You must have a current New Zealand Nursing Registration (APC);
- Ideally you will have at least 3 years surgical experience.
- You will understand that the key to success lies in our team operating in collaboration with one another and you will have the ability and disposition to enhance cooperation and teamwork;
- You will have excellent assessment skills, and an organised and methodical approach;
- You will be enthusiastic and focused on patient experience; with a patient-centric approach, you will take time to demonstrate the highest level of attention and care;
- You will be known for your clear and professional communication skills and your ability to remain calm and collected in a dynamic work environment;
- Flexibility to work rostered and rotating shifts required.
