Registered Nurse

We are currently expanding our Homecare team and are looking for an experienced Registered Health Professional or a Registered Nurse with a passion for Homecare in Northland.

About the role:
As a community-based role, we are seeking someone who will share our passion for supporting clients to remain in their homes and participate in the community.
We are currently seeking two additions to the team - one full time and one casual.
In this role,
- You will use your skills to assess and plan Homecare support for our clients.
- You will be hands on with client assessments and Community Support Worker training and competencies.
- You will follow up and review client goals and progress on a regular basis.
- You will work in partnership with Clients Service Managers and the Homecare Clinical Lead to provide outstanding Homecare.
- You will enable clients to live their best lives.
- You will be competent in your field with the ability to learn different skills and gain a broad knowledge around medication management, enteral feeding, falls and pressure injury prevention and woundcare.
- You will work holistically using a client centered approach and will have a strong local knowledge of our health system.
- You will have the ability to communicate with primary and secondary healthcare and an understanding of ACC and MOH community contracts is an advantage.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Most importantly - a passion for helping clients in the community, full training is on offer!
- Experience working in the community is an advantage but not essential as full support given
- Current registration and NZNC practising certificate
- The ability to work autonomously with a strong solution focus
- Strong MS Office skills
- High levels of attention to detail
- Strong and positive communication skills
- Ability to work in a complex and changing environment
- Critical thinking
- Drivers license
- Must have the right to work legally in NZ
- Required: Evidence of your vaccination status (as per the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 which specifies that all frontline workers must be vaccinated)

- Competitive Pay Rates {Depending on years of practical experience the pay for clinical workers can range from $65,000 to $84,000}
