Hospital Aide - Ward 23
- Permanent position available in Ward 23 at Christchurch Hospital.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in an inclusive team environment.
- Availability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and work rotating roster shifts.
Ward 23 is a 30-bed acute general medical ward, with sub specialties in rheumatology and Infectious Diseases. We work in a dynamic and fast paced environment with a supportive team and promote a restorative care approach when working with patients and their families.
The Role: Where you fit in
A Hospital Aide is an integral part of our team and we are looking for candidates who have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to use their initiative. You will enjoy being busy and don't mind that the role can be at times be physically demanding. You will work with a diverse multi-disciplinary team and follow a rotating roster including weekend shifts.
You will require the following skills and experience:
- A high attention to detail and the ability to relate to patients and their families.
- A good use of initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills and a willingness to learn.
You will be well accustomed to working within a fast-paced environment and prioritising your tasks continuously as your day evolves.
