An opportunity exists for a Specialist Anesthetist to join the Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management at Te Whatu Ora – Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty.
We are searching for a Specialist Anesthetist who is looking for a 12-month fixed term position in the beautiful Bay of Plenty. You will join a department and location that is experiencing growth. We are looking for a team member that is enthusiastic about providing care for all age groups, including afterhours, Obstetrics, and an interest in Acute Care. If this is you, we would like to hear from you – come and join our Anaesthetic team working in the Bay of Plenty serving a population of 260,000.
This fixed term, full time position is based at Tauranga Hospital with a commitment to supporting services across the Bay of Plenty, including Whakatāne Hospital.
He Korero mōu - About You
To be considered you would need:
- Medical Degree
- Vocational registration or eligible for vocational registration as a Specialist Anaesthetist
- Special Anaesthetist Registration with the New Zealand Medical Council
- Fellowship of, or education affiliation to the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists
- Current or have recently held a similar Anaesthetist appointment at consultant or fellow level
- Higher qualification in a relevant field
- Fellowship trained in the appropriate area
