He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
Are you seeking an exciting new opportunity to be part of an innovative and supportive team? Are you wanting to broaden and expand your existing skills by working with Allied Health Professionals to support people living in their own homes?
We currently have an opportunity for an Allied Health Assistant to assist our existing Rehab Equipment Store team to manage logistics around equipment to assist people to live safely and independently at home.
Your mahi will include, but is not limited to, delivery and fitting of equipment prescribed by Allied Health Professionals, administrative tasks at the Rehab Equipment Store to enable the smooth running of the department, assisting clinicians on client home visits, and general administration and housekeeping tasks.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
- Enthusiastic, energetic, resilient, with a ‘can do' attitude and a good sense of humour
- Team player with the confidence to also work independently
- An understanding of te reo Māori and tikanga Māori
- Ability to adapt and flex to trial new ways of working
- Good communicator, who easily builds rapport with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Basic computer and IT skills
- Basic clinical documentation skills
- A full driver's licence (manual and automatic) – essential
- Hold relevant residency status to work in New Zealand – essential
