He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role

This demanding and challenging opportunity is to provide administration support to the Maternity Department and administration staff within this service and within the scheduling team.
This role includes but is not limited to reception work on the Maternity ward and general administration tasks. You will be required to respond effectively to general enquires and maintain good relationships with clinical and non-clinical staff and most importantly, patients.
This role requires the successful applicant to be prepared to work flexible hours Monday to Sunday to meet department requirements and be willing to adapt to change as the service grows.
Please note the required shifts would be on a 2-week roster:
Week 1 Thursday and Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm & Saturday and Sunday 2:30pm to 11:00pm
Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 2:30pm to 11:00pm

Your friendly disposition, responsiveness and personal commitment to professional excellence will ensure you can deliver the great service that is important to success in this role.
A working knowledge within a hospital environment and patient management system would be desirable but full training will be provided.
