Occupational Therapist - Allied Health Inpatient Team

We are seeking experienced Occupational Therapists who are passionate about acute occupational therapy or wish to extend their current skills This exciting opportunity will be based in the Allied Health Inpatient team at Whakatane Hospital.
This is a casual role. The ideal candidate would have flexibility to work hours as and when required Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm. Some weekend or public holiday work may be required from time to time.
With no day being the same, you will hit the ground running working on our acute hospital wards with people of diverse cultures and ages. Working within a dynamic, fun, and supportive team you will provide excellent and responsive, person and whānau-centred care.

The successful candidate will:
- Hold a NZ recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and be registered with the board
- Have a compassionate nature, who can demonstrate reflexivity and adaptable practice, remaining calm and organised within a challenging, and fast-paced environment
- Have excellent communication and conflict management skills
- Produce timely, accurate written documentation
