He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role

An opportunity exists to join the Planned Care Services team at Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty in an operational position. This is a full-time permanent position based at the Tauranga Hospital.

This position will provide a district wide strategic planning and oversight function for the coordination of cardiology, outpatient, endoscopy, and perioperative services.

Highly developed communication and operational skills are vital for this integral position supporting the delivery of endoscopy and cardiology services. The successful candidate will have highly developed communication and operational skills which are vital for this position.  In this role you will also have accountability for coordinating and supporting 9 Cardiology and Endoscopy schedulers to deliver high quality customer service whilst ensuring Planned Care business processes are maintained.

Alongside having the opportunity to contribute positively to the provision of planned care services for the growing Bay of Plenty population, you will be committed to a whole of system approach and be supportive of our people and their whānau.

Proven experience as a people leader in a large complex organisation is required, experience in a heath setting is desirable. This position reports to the Planned Care Services Manager.
