Project CHIRP (Child Health Integrated Response Pathway) is implementing a new innovative approach to coordinating specialist support for children who present with developmental, attentional and behavioural concerns. By bringing together current child focussed services we are working to deliver a Tamariki and whānau centred response that is efficient, timely, responsive and most importantly makes a difference.

The successful applicant will be a Registered Clinical or Education Psychologist and bring, experience, energy and passion to work with children and families; along with the desire to work in a multidisciplinary team that focuses on family centred care.

You would be utilising your clinical skills to coordinate, connect, assess, support and guide whānau, whilst also informing and developing the project potential.

CHIRP and Child Mental Health Services Tauranga is committed to implementing high standard models of therapeutic treatment, as well as the necessary training and ongoing supervision that such pathways require.  There are hospital wide forums for psychologists and psychiatrists to network and share professional development opportunities.

Tauranga enjoys some of the highest sunshine hours per year in NZ and has beautiful beaches and bushland for all the outdoor activities you could ever want to do.
