Occupational Therapist - Community Allied Health

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join the Community Allied Health team based in Tauranga. This is a fixed term, full time position – 80 hours per fortnight, covering a parental leave vacancy.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Community Allied Health Team is an interdisciplinary and innovative team that puts the community at the centre of everything it does. We currently deliver Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Speech Language Therapy and Dietician services across the Western Bay to clients with a wide range of conditions. There will be opportunity for the successful candidate to work on innovative projects and to develop further quality improvement initiatives or even research.
About you
- At least 3 years post graduate experience
- Current Annual Practising Certificate
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Clean full NZ Drivers Licence
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings
